oneplus: Here’s when OnePlus may launch its first Android tablet

NEW DELHI: After Realme, now OnePlus is also planning to enter the Android tablet market. The Chinese smartphone maker is said to be working on an Android tablet. Likely to be called OnePlus Pad, the company is expected to launch the device in the first half of 2022. Apart from smartphones, OnePlus already offers products in the hearable, wearable and smart TV segment.
According to the popular tipster Mukul Sharma, OnePlus may launch the OnePlus Pad in the first half of next year. The tipster adds that the smartphone may launch various models of the OnePlus Pad but India will get only one variant. Along with this, Sharma also suggested that the company may launch the OnePlus Pad with the OnePlus 10 smartphone series.
Apart from this, no other information about the upcoming OnePlus tablet is available right now.

Recently, another online report revealed that OnePlus has organised a physical event in Las Vegas for January 5. The smartphone maker is expected to launch the much-teased OnePlus 10 series of smartphones at the event.
OnePlus 10 Pro rumoured specifications
OnePlus 10 Pro is said to feature a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is said to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 chipset and pack 8GB/12GB of RAM. The flagship OnePlus smartphone is said to come in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is said to run Android topped with the company’s own layer of OxygenOS 12. The smartphone is said to come with dual SIM support and an in-display fingerprint sensor. The smartphone is expected to house a camera co-developed by OnePlus and camera pioneer Hasselblad. The smartphone is said to come with a 48MP main sensor, 50MP ultra-wide camera with macro option and 8MP telephoto lens. The handset will reportedly house a 32MP selfie shooter.
The OnePlus 10 Pro is also said to pack a 5000mAh battery with 125W fast charging support and dual stereo speakers tuned by Dolby Atmos.
